Welcome to the Website of First Congregational Church of Wyandotte

We are a community founded in 1892, so we stand on the shoulders of generations who have come before us. As a United Church of Christ Congregation, we welcome all and strive to listen for God's direction through scripture, sacrament, and community. With God's grace, we strive to live as disciples of Jesus Christ. We have seen both good and hard times, but continue to live in hope and faith.

As the Body of Christ, the church, we will work together with what we have and who we are and trust that God will fill in the rest. There will be some wonderful moments and we will have some glorious mistakes. We can be assured of the latter as all of us are fallible human beings and can only avoid mistakes if we play it safe. The problem with playing it safe is that you are guaranteed to also miss the wonderful moments.
